2020 History Cold Creek Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

A remarkable fruit profile of blackberry, cassis, and undertones of black cherry evolves into a rich and serious tannin presence on the palate. Herbal notes of lavender, black tea, and sweet tobacco emerge as the fruit gives away to long, supple texture, carrying across the length of the palate to a definitive, structural finish.

VINTAGE OVERVIEW

The 2020 vintage was a relatively warm growing season, the perfect conditions for high cluster counts with small berries. As a result, the skin-to-juice ratio was higher than average, allowing us to craft high-quality wines with rich, concentrated flavors. The quantity of wine we made was limited due to the small fruit set, which means every bottle will be savored for years to come.
